Wheat cake


Ingredients:

Chopped cashews - 2tsp
Chopped almonds - 2tsp
Dry grapes- 2tsp
Chopped dates- 2
Wheat flour - 1/2tbsp
Oil - 1/2cup
Jaggery - 1/2cup
Curd - 1/4cup
Wheat flour - 1cup
Baking powder - 1tsp
Baking soda - 1/2tsp
Salt - 1/4tsp
Cinnamon powder - 1/4tsp
Milk - 1/2cup

Garnish with chopped nuts and bake for 40-45 mins in low flame in pressure cooker.
If baking in oven,bake for 30-35 mins at 180 degrees.

Method:

1. Finely chop cashews,almonds,dry grapes and dates.
2. In mixing bowl, add wheat flour 1/2 cup,oil 1/2 cup,powdered jaggery 1/2 cup,curd 1/4 cup and make it a mix.
3. Add baking powder 1tsp,baking soda 1/2 tsp,salt 1/4 tsp,cinnamon powder 1/4 tspn.
4. To the mix add 1/2 cup milk and mix slightly with spatula.
5.In a cake tin apply oil coating using pastry brush
6.Once coated with oil add a tbsp of dry wheat flour inside the cake tin
7. Now transfer the cake mix to the baking tin.
8.Garnish it with chopped nuts and mix softly using spatula.
9. Bake in oven for 30-35 mins at 180 degrees,if cooking in pressure cooker bake for 30-35 mins in low flame.
10. Once it reaches room temperature transfer the cake and relish with the healthy,tasty cake .

My kids enjoyed the cake and I make it often....
